FAQs
Is there an age limit sign up? Yes, sign-ups start at 6th grade thru Adult.
Are there a lot of adults that sign up? Yes, 60% or more of the attendees are adult.
Is the magic hard to learn? No, I make sure that everyone will have most of it down before they leave the session.
What if I mess up? Then mess up. I'm a professional and still drop the cards during a show. It happens, just move on.
What if I don't get it?
That's an understandable fear, but that doesn't happen. As kids we learn
how to play a very complex video game and joystick, and as adults we
learn how to use complex software for our jobs, this is much more
simple.
Do we have to perform in front of the group? No. You will practice with some of the people you are paired with, but not in front of the entire room.
Do you worry about upsetting other magicians with this program? No. I have the guts to do it right in a positive way, and not run to TV with a mask on.
Aren't you breaking the secret code?
Not really, we're not giving away serious sleights, or major effects.
Most of this stuff is already in the library books anyway. I'm just
showing people how its suppose to look.
Do you worry about starting your own competition?
No. People who will become magicians are going to do it anyway. Going
to a clinic at their local library isn't going to stop them or really
start them. To really take magic to that level, they would have to be
committed to their own cause, and I couldn't stop them if I wanted to.
Most people don't want to take the time, energy, and money be become a
professional magician. There are soo many talented people out there,
not just in magic but in other forms of entertainment, but the fact
remains that few decided to take it to that level. Besides, Tiger Woods
gives clinics, Bill Parcell gives coaching clinics, and Archie Tally
gave basketball camps, why is magic different.
We would like to bring your program to our area, how do we do that? Just call (304)-769-2001 and we will get a starter packet to you in the mail. We set up the date and go from there.
Are there going to be more?
Yes, we've decided the best way to go is to have to tours. One early in
the year Jan-Feb time frame and will are going to put together another
one in the early fall late Sept. or early Oct.
MAGICIAN FAQs
What all are you telling these people? Stuff that in the library books. Nothing serious.
I'm a magician and I don't agree with this idea!
Fine, you have the right to believe that, and I partial understand
where you are coming from. But the more the general public sees magic
and becomes a part of it, the more magicians are booked, the more they
are noticed, and the art benefits. Some people that play with it turn
into real hobbyist that buy magic books, magic tapes, that support
lectures. Thus the art grows. I don't agree with the idea of Top Hats,
that doesn't necessary make them wrong.
Do you think you are started some competition with this?
No. People who will become magicians are going to do it anyway. Going
to a clinic at their local library isn't going to stop them or really
start them. To really take magic to that level, they would have to be

There are other magicians that also agree with me and we don't really think this is a good idea.
That's fine, I understand. Like I said, I'm not putting on a mask and
claim to be helping the art by force magicians to come up with new ways
to deceive. The truth is there are BAD magicians that expose more than
I do during my clinic, by not practicing and video taping their shows.
Whether it be a bad pass, false cut, Jordan count or whatever. As far
as magicians not agreeing with the clinic, that's not a surprise. I've
seen magicians argue over best way to false shuffle a deck of cards, to
the best version of oil and water, and on and on and bluh bluh bluh.
The truth is as long as there are two magicians living, there will be
two different opinions. I've never seen a group of magicians all agree,
its like a group of Ministers all agreeing on issues. Difference of
views and opinions doesn't make the others wrong. The are just
different.
